Legazpi City, May 13- The CBCP-NASSA, in coordination with the Diocesan Social Action Centers, Sangguniang Laiko ng Pilipinas and other religious groups, conducted the Lakbay -Buhay, the biggest mobilization Catholic event that expresses the church's opposition against the implementation of death penalty under the administration of Phil. President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

On Saturday, religious groups from Albay province together with Bishop Joel Bong Baylon and Rev. Fr. Rex Ariona, joined the candlelighting and Lakbay Buhay marches from Daraga Church to Albay Cathedral. Other participants walked with pro -life banners and slogan to express their stand against death penalty.

The said caravan, which was started in Cagayan, was intensified and expected to run in other cities and provinces including Naga City, San Pablo and Batangas. Ateneo de Manila and University of Sto. Thomas are also some of the Catholic schools in the country that showed support to the Lakbay-Buhay pilgrims.
