PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OF ALBAY TO GIVE 200K TO MARAWI CITY



LEGAZPI CITY (June 15) - In humanitarian gesture, the Provincial Government of Albay has set aside Php 200,000 as financial assistance to the displaced people of Marawi.

The Sangguniang Panlalawigan passed the measure in their June 13 Regular Session with Vice Gov. Harold Ong Imperial presiding.

Recent reports disclosed that refugees have ballooned to 30,000 conservative estimates from our sources on ground with the numbers still counting.

Earlier than this, Naga City government has appropriated Php 500,000 to help the people of Marawi  affected by the harsh clashes between goverment troops and Maute terror group.  (Mar de la Cruz)
