 LEGAZPI CITY (Sept.27) – The Land Transportation Office (LTO) Legazpi District Office conducted a Road Safety Education Çampaign at Arimbay Elementary School, this city, on Wednesday, Sept. 27.

LTO-Legazpi Chief Grace Rojas  in an interview with DZGB News said that information dissemination and education to better explain the necessities of learning and adhere to land transportation laws is one of the advocacy of the agency. Rojas extends gratitude to Principal Rowena  Barbara P. Molina and all the teachers in the said school for the cooperation.

The teachers and pupils and other stakeholders was given a lecture and actual demonstration on the Safety of Children in Motorcycle Act, Anti-Distracted Driving Act and the Necessity of Helmet for both driver and back rider.

LTO is making extra efforts to bring road safety education to differenct schools in the region in order to prepare the future road users of the country.

Rojas in his previous assignment in Iriga City was very active in the Road Safety Campaign and promised to replicate the same in this city of fun and adventure. (Mar de la Cruz)
