LEGAZPI
CITY (November 14) – City police force will now enforce 24/7 all the traffic
ordinance and existing rules and regulations to ease traffic congestion here.
This
was disclosed by Legazpi City Chief of Police, P/SUPT. NILO S. BERDIN in an
exclusive interview with DZGB News Tuesday. Berdin said that police will also
get rid of illegally parked motor vehicles in the city’s main thoroughfare that
causes slow flow of traffic.
“Respect
and discipline must be observed by the motorists to remedy the never ending
complaints by the public about the poor traffic flow in the city”, Berdin added.
Berdin
pointed out that if necessary they will implement the city’s Tow Ordinance.
Police personnel will also be fielded in strategic points of convergence to
avoid choke points. (Mar de la Cruz with reports from Jordan Alpajaro)
